What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to provide support to our individuals who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team support individuals to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life.
Where You Would Work: Maine Valley, Ballymena
We are opening a brand new supported living service in Ballymena. The service will support one adult with a learning disability. As a Support Worker you will have an exciting opportunity to be a part of this new service and be an integral part of the staff team that will aim to provide the best quality of life for the person we are supporting.

Salary Details:
Support Worker
Full Time, Part Time and Relief Contracts available
*£11.65 per hour
*Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies.
