What’s the Role: Support Worker
What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to support the needs of individuals through the ethos and values of Praxis Care
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team support our individuals to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life.
Where You Would Work: Arigna House, Leitrim Village, Co. Leitrim
Arigna House, Leitrim Village provides residential care to 3 young adults with Intellectual disability & Autism. In Arigna House we strive to ensure that each resident has a service tailored to their needs and is person centered, respecting and promoting their choices. Individuals are provided with support to reach their full potential and achieve their desired goals throughout all aspects of their life.
The people we support also require help with cleaning, cooking, attending appointments and with many other activities. We are looking for hardworking individuals with Praxis Care values to join our team in providing individuals with the best quality of life.

Salary Details:
Support Worker
Full time, Part time and Relief contracts Available
€30,288.48 - €42,033.79 per annum *
*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on experience. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of €101.60 per night applies*
